Rules of Conduct

  • Students are expected to behave in a courteous and restrained manner on all occasions. They should address their Teachers and all members of the Staff with due respect and politeness. Good moral behaviour and gentle ways are pre-requisites for every student. They ought to remember that the School is evaluated on the basis of their conduct. They should strive for higher ideals and thus bring credit to themselves, to their parents and to their School.
  • The School, being the centre of education where all minds are at work, an atmosphere of silence is to be maintained in the School and its premises except during the recess.
  • Every student is required to develop a sense of discipline in the school premises. Students are not to shout, run, play or make noise in the school corridors.
  • All students must be in their seats before the Teacher enters the Class. During the absence of a Teacher, the monitor of the Class is responsible for maintaining discipline, till a replacement for the absent Teacher comes to the Class and all other students will co­ operate with him/her.
  • Continuous and comprehensive assessment of students is carried out throughout the academic session to evaluate his/ her performance in day-to-day academic and extra-curricular activities. Hence, the students are expected to be regular in attendance and timely submission of work.
  • A student who uses unfair means during Tests/Exams, tampers with marks, answer sheets, or the Report Card will be given a zero in the subject and parents summoned to the school.
  • No student is allowed to come out of the class without the teacher's permission.
  • All should take an honest pride in keeping our School and its surrounding clean. Be very careful not to litter the compound and roadside with papers/ plastic especially during recess.
  • Co-curricular and outdoor activities are essential for the all round development and growth of the child. Hence parents are expected to co-operate.
  • It is not advisable to bring valuable things like expensive watches, ornaments, electronic articles, money, etc., to the school. The school shall not be responsible for goods or money, which is lost. The goods will be confiscated and a fine of Rs. 50/- will be imposed.
  • No books, periodicals, pictures, newspapers or CDs, except those allowed by the school, should be brought to school or circulated. For all other purposes explicit permission of the Principal should be sought.
  • No Mobile phones are permitted in the school campus. Students found in possession of them will be severely punished. A fine of Rs. 500/-will be imposed and the mobile will be confiscated.
  • Students are expected to take care of their books, notebooks and personal belongings.
  • The child's water bottle, tiffin and bags should be labeled.
  • After the final bell all the students along with their teachers should say "PRAYER AFTER THE CLASS" devoutly and leave the class in proper order.
  • No contribution of any kind or collection drive whatsoever may be made without the Principal's previous sanction.
  • Presents to the members of the Staff or other celebrations in their honour also require previous sanction of the Principal.
  • Attendance at official School Functions like Independence Day, Goa Liberation Day, Republic Day, School Annual Day, Annual Sports Meet, etc. is compulsory.
  • Students are strictly forbidden to enter the Staff Room and areas reserved for the staff.
  • As the medium of instruction is English, students are expected to regularly converse in English in the School premises, and be encouraged to do so also at home.
  • Parent-Teacher Association meetings are arranged during the course of the year and when necessary, at other times an appointment can be sought on working days, depending on the availability of the concerned teacher.
  • Open defiance, disobedience, objectionable moral influence. discourtesy and disrespect to the Authorities and teachers will be Sufficient reason for dismissal/suspension.
  • Any student who has committed an act of serious indiscipline or misbehaviour or who, in the opinion of the Principal/ Staff, has an adverse influence on his/her fellow students may be expelled/suspended from the school.
  • Whether in the School or outside, students are expected to conduct chemselves in conformity with the code of conduct prescribed in these Rules and Regulations. Any act of omission and commission which would adversely affect the reputation of the School will be deemed to be a breach of these regulations.
